I like all of it the best… By partner, senior trainer P.-H. Bergmann
LADEGAARD A/S and our Norwegian partner Auticon Holding AS are hard at work developing the Norwegian version of The Key to Successful Selling.
In connection with the video recordings for the Norwegian version of www.successfulselling.info we spoke to trainer Ketil Olsen about entering into the partnership with LADEGAARD A/S – and ‘The Key to Successful Selling’.
What decided you about the co-operation?
“When we visited you in Denmark we received a warm welcome and we soon discovered that the chemistry and the enormous energy which comes from LADEGAARD A/S is a fantastic starting point.”
“The concept – from event to process – and not least the energy that you met us with really meant that we flew home on cloud nine. The whole process with the online solution combined with the work of reference and the cd is brilliant. Furthermore we see a fantastic connection to the DiSC profile which we also work with in Norway.”
“I like all of it the best!” Ketil answers enthusiastically and continues: “The simplicity, the educational theory and practice and the combination of the online solution and the work of reference – the whole system is about goal oriented sales and nothing is made harder than it is.”
“I also find it unique that we have The Key to Successful Leadership so there is a connection between leadership and sales.”
“Everything can be intellectualized, but this is plain sailing. You can understand it!”
”First of all it is due to the fact that you had everything ready, so it was easy to get going.”
“Secondly the message is simple and in keeping with the way I myself approach sales work. That makes it easy to work with and it suits Norwegian culture amazingly well.”
”We have an intense focus on sales now – much more than previously. Sales have become ‘legitimate’ in Norway. I think the reason is that it has become demystified – sales are not ’rocket science’.
“My own copy of the reference work The Key to Successful Selling is full of Post-Its – with all the words of wisdom. Sales are about behaviour – it’s about me and sales are actually what you say at LADEGAARD A/S: ‘Common sense put in order!’”
What are you looking forward to the most when you get going in Norway this September?
“Most of all I am looking forward to confirmation that The Key to Successful Selling works just as well as I think it does – presenting the concept to our customers so they can see the benefits and advantages they will get.”
”I am also looking forward to combining The Key to Successful Selling with the DiSC profile because the two concepts are in keeping with each other – which you have had confirmed in Denmark.”
”Finally I am really looking forward to developing our co-operation with LADEGAARD A/S. We share each other’s fate. We will be getting to know each other better and I am sure that we can learn a lot from each other. This session has confirmed that.”
What are your expectations?
“They are huge – both in terms of the advantages and benefits we can offer our customers but also as to what Auticon and LADEGAARD A/S can do together. The two expectations are connected with the fact that I see this as very realistic.”
”We shall develop the concept together and we may take advantage of each other’s network to go further in Scandinavia – and in Europe – well, in the whole world,” Ketil says enthusiastically.
What is the next step in Norway?
“First of all the trainer workshop which we shall be holding here in Trondheim in the beginning of July. We will go through the whole development system and draw on your experiences in Denmark – and moreover get to know each other even better.”
”Then we shall hold a meeting early in August on sales and training – who does what, how can we discuss and develop things with each other – and then finally begin to scan the market for potential customers.”
“Naturally I also look forward to the launching of The Key to Successful Selling in Norwegian and the opening of our new consultancy house which very symbolically is situated in Lade – just next to the historic Lade Gaard,” Ketil Olsen concludes.
