LADEGAARD A/S accompanies our Customers to the BRIC countries –

India is the First Stop

Many of LADEGAARD A/S’ customers are big international companies with activities in large parts of the world including the BRIC countries. Naturally their employees must be able to train and develop with Blended Learning as a part of their companies’ international training and educational strategy.

For this reason a delegation from LADEGAARD A/S consisting of Jens Ladegaard, Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen and Peter Ladegaard have recently been in India in order to find the right company to teach and train Indian employees locally with The Key to Successful Selling, which has already been translated into English.

Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen has been appointed International Developer and International Trainer in LADEGAARD A/S. Niels has travelled in India for 30 years and has built up a very strong network there. Niels’ unique contacts and his appreciation of India’s culture and business life mean that LADEGAARD A/S comes in contact with the right companies who are capable of implementing Blended Learning in India and other places in South East Asia. This ensures the same high quality they are used to from LADEGAARD A/S’ own trainers.

The Indians were very enthusiastic about the Blended Learning concept. It perfectly suits this big country and its situation with a strong focus on education amongst other things.

India has experienced a growth of more than 7% since 1994. A new and comprehensive analysis from Goldman Sachs predicts that the Indian economy will grow by on average 8 per cent a year. This is a significant adjustment compared to four years ago when the prognosis was an average growth of 5.7% a year. In particular the IT sector has experienced pronounced growth and today constitutes 50% of the GDP.

In India there is a fast-growing middle class of more than 300 million people who are all highly educated with strong motivation. Every year more academics are educated in India than in Europa and the USA put together!

Because of the great distances in India it is an even greater advantage to train with Blended Learning, where there are fewer course days and more online training.

Indian companies and other companies abroad will now have the possibility of a joint platform with local trainers who understand and know the culture. Of course language also makes it easy to implement Blended Learning in India. As the Indians jokingly said to us: “The colonial era gave us two things: The English language and gin & tonic.”
