Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen

International trainer and responsible for LADEGAARD’s international business development. Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen shall build, develop and implement Blended Learning together with international partners and customers. He speaks five languages fluently and can teach in them: German, English, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish.

Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen originally received business training in iron and steel, plumbing and tools at Sanistaal A/S and was CEO of the heating and sanitation chain Comfort.

Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen’s heart beats warmly for India, which he has devoted time to since 1978, when he set up the production by licence of shoes in Chindswad, Pune. In India he has been a consultant for DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG, Environmental early warning systems as well as being a project consultant for Krüger water treatment. Since 2005 Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen has performed the duties of European Managing Director of the Indian IT group OCS Technology Ltd.

In Denmark Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen is best known for his many years of political work including 16 years as a Conservative MP and group secretary from 1981 to 1998. From 1990 to 1998 he was a member of the Conservative party leadership. Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen has been his party’s spokesman on foreign policy for several periods as well as being the spokesman on defence, chairman of the Danish Parliament’s Environmental and Regional Planning Committee and chairman of the Nordic Council’s Financial Committee.

His many years of work with India as well as his many political appointments and chairmanships have meant that Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen has built up a very strong and very large international network with contacts in most of the world.

Today Niels Ahlmann-Ohlsen lives in Hoersholm. Furthermore he is chairman of the board in Lotek A/S.
